When I think of a desk phone, I generally think of a phone that ties me down to one place and that is just too inconvenient to accept in my line of work. However this phone gives me more what I need with the same added conveniences of a mobile phone. Moreover being able to take the phone with me in the middle of a conversation that started on a desk phone is a pretty attractive idea. Even just so that someone does not have to dial a different number to contact me would add more value to customer support in the eyes of my new and existing customers.

Here's what I like, the front of the phone contains 2 stereo speakers to provide quality sound that exceeds what traditional desk phones would accommodate. I love the way the iPhone headset complements this desk phone. With the input for the 1/8th jack located on the front, which by the way is compatible with your remote/mike on your iPhone headset that came with your iPhone. Other audio devices can be used as well.

The best part about the speakerphone feature is that switching between the handset speakerphone is a simple as just picking up the handset or placing it down. When you want to hang up your hangup by touching the "End Call" button on the touch screen.

Another feature I particularly like in this very slick desk phone is the charging/syncing feature. The desk phone will not just the you iPhone charged but it also integrates perfectly with your computer for syncing with one simple USB cord that goes to a leaf from the phone to the computer. Now how convenient is that?

Of course I'm just highlighting a lot of the things I like in this incredible iPhone accessory, but how many desk phones have you seen in your life that has all the features that can be brought to a your personal desk phone via the App Store? So it goes without saying your music via iTunes on the iPhone through the speakerphone will be absolutely amazing. Your auto dial becomes endless with your Contacts App. It's just so much nicer cause there are so many more possibilities. The Desk Phone Dock has many more features that you can check out by visiting www.deskphonedock.com. I'm sure you will find more features that appeal to your taste as you explore the possibilities yourself.

Though the picture above displays an iPhone 3 you will be please to hear that it conveniently fits all the previous generations as well. So check out the site and give me your comments. I would be curious to know what you think.

As for me  it goes without saying, but I'm ordering one now.
